Melissa Broersma is a Pacific Northwest painter whose oil and mixed media works explore escapism, memory, humor, longing, and the strange theater of everyday life. Figures, animals, and recurring symbols inhabit dreamlike scenes that feel like fragments of larger, unfinished stories. Working professionally for over twenty years, Broersma’s practice spans painting, large scale murals, exhibitions, and narrative driven wearable art.
